Apart from lamb what else can you bung it on. Personally I love the stuff.

I'm afraid so Coffee, they never give you details of how to make the restaurant version. A bit like the crabby pattie recipe from Spongebob

Love it....but the lamb needs to be nice and pink not overdone to shit. Weird thing about lamb... does not do a sarnie justice when cold like beef does

I always used to have it on Toad in the Hole.
Don't know why, as would not have considered sticking it in a sausage sandwich, but with the Yorkshire, gravy and peas I just loved it.

Add it to natural yoghurt, smooth mango chutney, sugar and turmeric, water down with drop of milk if too thick and you have takewaway Indian mint sauce.

As a kid I used to love it on cheese-on-toast/Welsh Rarebit. Never actually done it again since leaving home probably for no other reason than having none in the house.
Think it's a "kid" thing though - marrying my experiences as a young'n with that of bringing up 3 - it's most definitely something my kids would have relished, given the chance.

Love the stuff, especially on roast spuds.
Love the fact that you just keep topping up the jar with vinegar and it lasts for years and gets better and better.

Took my parents to Tomassi's in Southend recently and ordered the lamb roast.
The lamb was average (generally excellent in there, so I was unlucky with the meat), but what I liked is they bought me an entire saucer of mint sauce. Enough for a whole family and I was the only one eating it.
Nothing worse than the tight fuckers who bring our a fimble of it and you have to ask for more.

What '64 said.
But to sum this post up - As an adult I can bung it on whatever I like. I don't need my hand holding to make that monumental decision.
